Research in the Doctoral Program in Internationalization of Legal Systems and Fundamental Rights focuses on the evolution of legal systems in light of the processes of Europeanization and internationalization of law, with a cross-disciplinary focus on fundamental rights.

The approach is theoretical-dogmatic and comparative, aimed at developing a renewed general theory of legal systems. Doctoral students are encouraged to produce original and highly scientific studies in the four proposed curricula, critically analyzing regulatory and institutional transformations in national, supranational, and international contexts.
